Daniil Kvyat will obtain a one race ban if he notches up one other three extra penalty factors between now and October’s United States Grand Prix after receiving punishment for his conflict with team-mate Carlos Sainz.
The Russian collided with Toro Rosso counterpart Sainz on the opening lap of the British Grand Prix, the tangle eliminating the Spaniard and leaving Kvyat with harm, two penalty factors and a drive-thru penalty that finally scuppered his race probabilities.
Curiously, Kvyat was punished for failing to re-join the circuit in an accurate method, an offence he disputes whatever the final result in opposition to his team-mate, suggesting stewards at the moment are concentrating on him unfairly.
