Seven iDP Cranks Up MTB 2018 with their M1 Helmet.

It’s a fine day for an MTB Product Spotlight, and boy do we have a good one! Much like their motocross counterparts, Mountain Bike Helmets have been refined over the years. And the culmination of all these technical advances may very well be the M1 helmet from Seven iDP.  First off, this is not your granddaddy’s bike helmet. You know, the dusty old one in the garage. No sir. This is a true state-of-the-art piece of MTB protective gear.

From racing to full days of uplifting or bike park laps the M1 MTB helmet keeps you protected and comfortable. A panoramic eyeport gives ample room for MTB goggles, so that is a non-issue. With two new graphics and seven colors for 2018, there’s something for everyone. Moreover, it’s available in sizes Youth Medium through Adult XL.

M1 Helmet Technical Details

  • Lightweight Polycarbonate Shell
  • 17 Vents provide cool air intake and heat exhaust (the next best thing to an MTB Hydration Pack in terms of keeping you cool)
  • Large eye port for greater field of vision and improved goggle fit
  • Complies to all regulatory safety standards (an important point when you blow out your MTB tires and hit the deck!)

Tested Beyond CE, CPSC & AS Standards

Foam padded internal muzzle maximizes protection and foam backed vents keep debris out.

Adjustable peak held in place with two aluminium screws and a central thumb screw.

The wide face opening makes fitting even the largest goggles easy.

Mesh covered vents stop debris getting through in a crash. For example, when “dead sailoring” through the tree tops.

Screen printed logos on the M1 peak and shell will stand the test of time and the matte finish holds up after repeatedly being thrown in your bike bag.

Clearly, the M1 from Seven iDP is a lightweight full-face that is made to be rocked all day long! Whether it’s practice at the bike park or your next downhill race in the dirt. Furthermore, the M1 boasts 17 vents for intake and exhaust ports to keep you cool… no matter what the terrain. Lastly, it’s great to know there’s a Youth M1 Helmet available too- to keep the little one safe on the bike. If you’re looking to find your next MTB or BMX full-face helmet, the Seven iDP M1 should definitely be on your list.
